The Lost Tapes begins with a fascinating discovery: a box full of old VHS recordings found in our archives. The tapes, part of a forgotten “time-travel research project,” capture conversations with believers across different eras about the Sabbath. What they reveal is more surprising than anyone expected.
Through this restored footage, viewers travel from first-century synagogues to the Roman Empire, through the Middle Ages and the Reformation, and into the modern world. Along the way, you’ll meet Jewish followers of Yeshua, God-fearing gentiles, pastors, reformers, and everyday believers. Each one wrestles with what it meant to honor the seventh-day Sabbath in their own time.
What emerges is a much bigger story than most people have heard. In every generation, a faithful remnant has continued to keep the Sabbath.
Designed for families and serious students alike, this film blends historical reenactments, thoughtful storytelling, and creative visuals to make the subject both entertaining and compelling. Our hope is to spark meaningful conversations, encourage deeper study, and help viewers rediscover the beauty of the gift YHWH has given humanity.
The project is now in active production. Your partnership supports the remaining creative work, editing, and finishing touches needed to make The Lost Tapes a reality to be shared with friends and families around the world.
Thank you for helping bring this film to life!
