The Word is He, In a Doctrinal Pickle are We

John 5:46

For if you BELIEVED MOSES, you would believe Me; for he wrote about Me. 47 But if YOU DO NOT BELIEVE HIS WRITINGS, how will you believe MY WORDS?”

Moses wrote of Him?

John 14:24

He who does not love Me does not keep MY WORDS; and THE WORD which you hear is NOT Mine but the Father’s who sent Me.

Not His Words?

John 1:14

And the WORD became flesh and dwelt among us,

What Word?

Mark 7

9 He said to them, “All too well you reject THE COMMANDMENT OF GOD, that you may keep your tradition. 10 FOR MOSES SAID...

...13 making THE WORD OF GOD of no effect through your tradition which you have handed down. And many such things you do.”

Moses wrote the Word?

Deut 18

15 “The LORD [YHWH] your God will raise up for you a PROPHET LIKE ME (Moses) from your midst, from your brethren. Him YOU SHALL HERE...

18 I will raise up for them a Prophet like you from among their brethren, and will put MY WORDS IN HIS MOUTH, and He shall speak to them all that I command Him. 19 And it shall be that whoever WILL NOT HEAR MY WORDS, which He speaks in My name, I will require it of him.

A Prophet like Moses speaking the Father's Words?

Deut. 13

1 “If there arises among you a prophet or a dreamer of dreams, and he gives you a sign or a wonder, 2 and the sign or the wonder comes to pass, of which he spoke to you, saying, ‘Let us go after other gods’—which you have not known—‘and let us serve them,’ 3 you shall not listen to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams, for the LORD [YHWH] your God is TESTING YOU to know whether you LOVE THE LORD [YHWH] YOUR GOD with all your heart and with all your soul. 4 You shall WALK AFTER THE LORD [YHWH] your God and fear Him, and KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS and obey His voice; you shall serve Him and hold fast to Him. 5 But that prophet or that dreamer of dreams shall be put to death, because he has spoken in order to TURN YOU AWAY from the LORD [YHWH] your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt and redeemed you from the house of bondage, to entice you from the way in which the LORD [YHWH] your God COMMANDED YOU TO WALK. So you shall put away the evil from your midst.

A true prophet is tested to the commandments God already commanded to walk?

Question:  Did Jesus [Yeshua] break Deut. 13 & 18, or did He state that He taught the Word of God (as written by Moses), teaching only the Word of the Father?

What do you believe and teach that Jesus [Yeshua] teaches us?

His words, or the Word already given?

Does your answer Biblically define Jesus [Yeshua] as a THE prophet, or a false prophet?

If THE PROPHET was to teach all of the Word of God as written by Moses, then we have a commandment of Jesus [Yeshua] to deal with that directly relates to anyone in the faith.

Does Jesus [Yeshua] instruct us to teach EVERYTHING HE COMMANDED to ALL of the NATIONS (GENTILES), or just some of the things that He was told to teach according to Deut. 13 and Deut. 18?

Matthew 28:19-20

(The Great Commission) Go therefore and make disciples of ALL the NATIONS, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  TEACHING THEM TO OBSERVE ALL THINGS THAT I HAVE COMMANDED YOU; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

What did we just review that Jesus [Yeshua] commanded and taught?

That puts us into a doctrinal pickle doesn't it?

There is no “comfortable” in between.  There is no acceptable “tension” on this matter in what we define as the Bible.  All we have is a choice.  What do you choose?

False prophet, or THE prophet.

Teach and obey everything to all, or teach and obey some things to some?

In the end, only Truth matters.

Psalm 119:142

Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness,And Your law is truth.

Psalms 119:151

You are close to me, Yahweh, and all your commandments are true.
